Landscape photography

People who are first to start taking pictures have always the same question on their minds. How to take a landscape photo?

Which camera/gadget should be the best?

You will find answers to the questions here.

Let’s start.

When you start taking pictures, you will take landscape shots as a follow-up instinct. The process is quite natural, do not worry. Landscape photography seems easy for a quick start. But is it though?

Being an amateur does not mean that you will fail all the time. You can take a very good  photo by following the little tips I will give you.

How to shoot?

It is very difficult to reflect the magnificence you see with the naked eye on your photograph. You should pay attention to angle, lens, filter, tripod, clock etc. to get the best porography. But how?

When taking pictures of landscapes you need to pick the right time of the day. Because the light will affect your photoshoot. The best time to shoot is the golden hour, either sunrise or sunset. Horizontal light reduces the contrast and affects the sense of depth. Noon and low light hours are no more than experimental time zones for landscape photography. Because at this stage, it becomes very difficult to control the light.

The equipment you will use is also so very important. You have to use the right lens to take landscape photos. You should always use wide angle lenses. By choosing a wide-angle zoom lens, you can adjust the frame of the photo as you like. However, if you prefer a wide angle prime lens, you need to move forward or vice versa to get the frame you want.

How about contrast?

If you want to get high definition images, keep the ISO value at a minimum and diaphragm values high. Thus, you can shoot a larger area more clearly. The ranges I can recommend are F / 8,10,11,13. At the same time, determining your focus point correctly will add depth to the photo. At this stage, I recommend Matrix Metering. Although I usually don’t need to say and remind me, use a tripod. Turn off the VR feature of your lens. In this way, you will not have any vibration-related high definition problems.

Filters right?

You can use a filter to increase the effect of the item you want, completely based on preference. For example, when I focus over clouds, I prefer filters such as 80-A.

Do not take the photo that everyone has taken. Plan a route before you start. If you are alone while going on these routes, take all kinds of negativity into consideration. If you are going to take pictures of landscapes, do not wear clothes such as short sleeves or shorts. Have portable chargers with you. Be sure to share your location with someone. These small mistakes made while taking pictures can give you a hard time but do not stop. time. Take your precaution and enjoy your hobby with the tricks I shared above.
